Ingenuity & Pandemonium – Downtheuptempo…

Alright – I know I’m a bit late with this (as its already 10:36 PM), but I thought I’d get it in there while I still have the chance. So, this is another pandemonium video. This was from this weekend – we got the opportunity to lead worship in Michigan for a worker weekend for our summer camp. At any rate, we were teaching a new song to the folks in Michigan – Stanfill’s “Spring of Life” (we’ve played it before, but it was new to them). At any rate, Benji was in charge of all the keys and consequently the click, so he was responsible for the tempo changes. Well, he accidentally triggered a click track that was 14 BPM off…so, as a last-ditch effort, he decided to re-trigger the correct click…check the vid:

I suppose that was about as smooth as it could have been…but lesson learned…always double check your tempos.

If you haven’t heard about the Ingenuity and Pandemonium craze, be sure to head over to Neil’s blog!
